Zactly 39 years ago today, the beautiful woman you see in this photo married me! ME! How could such a thing happen??
Well I'm knocking on wood, and ain't about to be looking the gift horse in the mouth. I'll just consider that i'm the luckiest guy on this planet and let it go at that. What a woman! She's beautiful. She's smart. She's a wonderful mother, and as you can see, a great Memaw as well, and I'm just grateful she picked me. She deserves some kind of international recognition for tolerating me all these years!

ps... We're off today to Portland Oregon where we'll be visiting our son Lance, his bride Chrystal, and our grand-dog Louie Pee Wigglebottom. We'll also be spending some time with dear friends up from California. Good times ahead! Be back Monday night. Have a great week-end!
