AND THE WINNER IS...... RAMONA!!

RAMONA!! YOU WON!! OUT OF 60 ENTRIES YOU WON THE NOSTEPINDE!! YAHOO!!!

PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR ADDRESS
and everyone... please check Ramona's website! Now here is one very talented person. Amazing work in all kinds of media. Everything she makes is just fantastic, but what struck me (maybe cause its wood) is the coat hanger she made for a friend from her Christmas tree. See her at jademond.typepad.com

Hot off the lathe comes the...... TA DA...... SON OF NOSTEPINDE
AND I've decided to give this little feller away! This is a cherry Noste that's oh about 9" long. Its made from a scrap that a friend was actually going to throw away! Imagine that.

Nostepindes as you know, are used to make center pull yarn balls. Some folks like them much better than power yarn winders. Plus the wooden ones don't require electricity and are much purtier. Google "Nostepinde" to find instructions on their use. Cinchy to use. If I can wind yarn on one ANYBODY can.

So here's what we'll do. I'll put the names of all the bidders below (they're entered automatically), and any others (bidders or not...you don't have to bid to win) in a hat and do a drawing one week from today. Just email me your name at

jimbocrochetwhittler@yahoo.com

Oh, and any Noste users.... PLEASE leave a comment here for others to see, about the wonders of Nostepindes...

and Thanks for stopping by
Jimbo

I just love using nostes. Once you get the hang of using them they are the greatest, plus they are so much prettyer then the other type of yarn winders. Jimbo you must sign and date this little beuty since it is truely a work of art.

I emailed this noste plug with my plea to be entered into the drawing but thought maybe I should post here for the benefit of the readers. Nostepindes are absolutely wonderful. I use a mechanical ball winder to wind singles off the bobbin on my spinning wheel for plying. That said, a nostepinde is so much more portable. You can take it with you anywhere.
