NOW TELL ME, WHAT USE COULD YOU POSSIBLY HAVE FOR AN OVER SIZE BUTTON WITH A CROCHET HOOK STICKING OUT THE SIDE? COULD IT BE DESIGNED FOR COMFORT? NAH, I'VE HELD IT AND IT'S DEFINITELY NOT COMFORTABLE TO HOLD. IS IT A THING OF BEAUTY? COMEON, ITS A BUTTON WITH A CROCHET HOOK STICKING OUT THE SIDE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. ALTHOUGH THE REDHEART WOOD IS VERY PRETTY ALL BY ITSELF. BUT NO, IT'S NOT MADE AS AN OBJECT OF BEAUTY. OK SO YOU SAY IF IT'S NOT MADE FOR COMFORT OR BEAUTY, IT MUST BE ONE AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE CROCHET HOOK; IS IT MADE FOR SPEED AND ACCURACY? NOPE, HECK I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE HOOK SIZE AND THE GLUE HOLDING THE HOOK IN ISN'T DRY ENOUGH TO TRY CROCHETING.
SO WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS STRANGELY ATTRACTIVE BUTTON WITH A HOOK STICKING OUT IT'S SIDE?
IT'S A NEW TAKE ON AN OLD TOOL. EVER HEAR OF A BUTTON HOOK?
OH, AND DO YOU REALIZE THAT TODAY IS
APRIL FOOLS DAY????!!!!
Have yourself a merry little April Fools Day everyone!!!

Good stuff, Jim!
Hello there! I just stumbled upon your blog and I'm lovin' it! Only problem is I'm a rug hooker - not a crochet worker. I think that your hooks could also be used by rug hookers with a bit of tweaking. Would love to have you try one......
Oh for Pete's sake! For a second there, you actually had me. I was thinking --- "Is it easier to hold the hook with a button attached?" Clearly, I need more coffee today.
Too much fun
