HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CROCHET DAY!!! AND THE WINNER IS.....

I'm just flabbergasted at the number of kind folks who took the idea of an International Crochet Day seriously. I know it was really presumptious to declare such a thing, not being a crochetier, but you know that from my perspective, I think I've had a unique view and can see just how this art has attracted so many truly nice people.... so much so that I just felt they deserve a Holiday all of their own.
Honestly, I've never met a more friendly group, and there should be a day of recognition for the art and the folks who make such wonderful heirlooms with their hooks.
So with no further too doo.... we have a winner of the very first International Crochet Day Jimbo hook!!

And the winner is.....

Anne Fatato!!

Go to her blog at http://www.lionbrand.com/lbyarnblog10/ and see what Anne has done to promote Crochet Day!

And thanks to ALL who took this seriously and helped promote the day. There's been so many great entries and so many folks promoting the day that I'm just floating!

So the date is on my calendar for next year and i hope its on yours too.

HAPPY Crochet Day!!!
Jimbo

ps.. Anne, please email me with an address where the hook should go.
