Jimbamboo #1 for bids!! SOLD!!

$38.00 Is the winning bid.... by Naomi!

A jimbo first!! Here we have the very first combination of fine quality bamboo for the hook, and an totally unique Jimbo bush maple handle that's part turned (on the new lathe) and part whittled (on the old pocket knife). So here you have the best of bamboo married to the best of Jimbo for a perfect size H hook. I didn't like any of the hook shapes that i found in bamboo hooks so i formed the hook myself from an H size hunk of bamboo. Added some cost, but for the hooker who wants a perfect size H and who likes the feel of bamboo... well here you are!
Email me bids at jimbocrochetwhittler@yahoo.com.
I'll take bids till next Monday on this very first original and totally different hook.
And thanks again for stopping by!
Jimbo

Congrats on the new lathe. Does this mean that you'll soon be making drop spindles? (I stumbled onto your old post in the Crochetville spinning forum...) Does that mean that you'll need drop spindle testers? :)

That looks so pretty, but then I wouldn't expect anything else from you, my talented friend. Hope all is well up at the crick.

Yes Andi i'm thinking aobut doing some drop spindles. I think that would be a fun thing to do... but i need some input on size and maybe some idea which is most popular.. top or bottom sworls (is that what you call the big part?)
and Pink... thank you for the compliment. Everything's well at the crick... might even be an announcement coming up soon.
